Zemanta, using shared data

Blog better using Zemanta

I just downloaded the Zemanta plugin for Firefox. This plugin enables you to add  pictures, tags, links and more to your e-mails and blog postings. All suggestions by Zemanta are related to the content you are writing.

Intergration in WordPress and Gmail

I just tested the Zemanta plugin in my GMail and WordPress blog. And it works perfectly. After typing some words Zemanta gives already suggestions for links and keywords. With one click it is possible to add a map, wikipedia-link or Image. And the best thing: because it integrates nicely with the interface, it’s becoming a natural extension of your web application.

Accurate

The suggestions are quite accurate and gathered from more than 10,000 News Sources, Connecting 100 Million Content Objects. By registering you are able to add your own sources like your favorite blogs, feeds and pages.

Time-saver

Zemanta is definitely worth trying. I’ll try to use it a bit for this blog, but wont use it in my mail. I just do not like mails stuffed with images and links. But it saves a lot of time searching the net for images and links that I can include.
